The Dr. Wilhelm Hurka Foundation is a private, Zürich based foundation dedicated to support clinically relevant research on Parkinson’s Disease and related neurodegenerative diseases at the University of Zürich, ETH Zürich and the Zürich University Hospitals.
Calls are published every two years and19 projects were funded over the last 14 years. The project proposals should address key questions of disease pathogenesis, pathophysiology, or novel approaches for therapies or prevention. The project description (5-7 pages max.) should include a paragraph highlighting the expertise and previous contributions of the principal investigator and a budget (CHF 60’000 – 120’000). Please, also include the CV of the principal investigator and, if applicable, of the group member(s) for which a salary is requested.
